Public numbers
How many Mediarium installs share anonymous numbers, and what they run on. Everything here is open: this page shows exactly what the receiver counts, and the code is public.
These are only installs whose administrator chose Yes in the app, plus people who answered the survey on this website. Real use is higher. A group with fewer than 10 installs is never shown, so nobody can be picked out.

The project
Read live from the public pages of GitHub and Docker Hub, refreshed at most once an hour. They count the project, not people. Downloads through the GitHub container registry are not public.

How it works
- In the app, an administrator is asked once: Yes, share anonymous numbers or No thanks. Nothing is sent before Yes.
- The message is small and fixed: a random ID, the version, how it runs, rough bands for size and hardware, and which features are on. The code that makes it and the code that receives it are public.
- It is used to see which devices and setups are popular, so Mediarium can be made to work better on them. Read the documentation.
- Do not want to share from the app? Fill in the survey instead, or share nothing at all.
